I thoroughly enjoyed Xuchang335’s blog post this week. Although I know little to nothing about economics in health care I found their resource video of choice engaging and fairly easy to follow along. The activity outlined is fantastic! I love the idea of making a game for students in order for them to interact with the material. This allows students to make deeper connections with the information so that they are more likely to retain it for a longer period of time. Well done!
Additional to that, creating a poster discussing how different countries operate, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and what kind of problems may arise is a great group activity that brings in a variety of perspectives. This can lead to increased diverse discussions as groups later compare different countries. I am curious if the feedback provided is for student growth and development or if it would be marked?
