After reading Kiana’s post on experiential learning (found here), I can say with confidence that I have a stronger understanding of this learning approach. I had only known this approach within the contexts of primary schooling but was interested to see the difference into higher education environments. Kiana’s definition of the topic is clear and concise while making person connections to her previous experiences with this approach.
I appreciate how Kiana applies this approach to our learning resource with discussing both the advantages and disadvantages. The application is honest with how experiential learning and our topic of ChatGPT would be flawed and not be the best learning approach. After reading this, I agree. I enjoy experiential learning but don’t believe it could be applied to our topic as is does not change the learning environment. Overall, wonderful description of experiential learning and its application to our learning resource topic of ChatGPT.
